The alert issued on 8 October 2014 for Merlynston Creek (tributary of the Yarra River) in Jack Roper Reserve, Broadmeadows has been removed. This alert remained active for an extended period due to a series of pollution reports but as there have been no resent reports, we've decided to remove the alert. EPA advices the community to avoid contact if they observe or smell pollution in the creek and report pollution to EPA.
