Pollution occurring in Darebin Creek Ivanhoe

Community reports of pollution occurring in Darebin Creek near Abbott Street, Ivanhoe prompted Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) Officers to investigate.

The spill had stopped before officers arrived and a white discoloration was observed, impacting a 10 metre stretch of the creek. Officers commenced an investigation but were unable to locate the source. The discolouration is expected to have dissipated and EPA have not received any further reports about the incident.
