Alert removals for Yarra River, Koonung Creek and Darebin Creek

Please be advised that alerts relating to water discolouration in the Yarra River, Koonung Creek and Darebin Creek have been removed.

  • An alert relating to white discoloration in the Yarra River near the end of Gipps Street, Abbotsford has been removed. Yarra Valley Water have repaired the burst water main responsible for the discoloured water.
  • An alert relating to sediment discharge from a stormwater drain in Koonung Creek near Bowen Road, Donvale has been removed. EPA investigated but no source could be identified. No further reports have been received.
  • An alert relating to turbid water in Darebin Creek upstream of Darebin Road, Ivanhoe has been removed. EPA investigated but no source could be identified. No further reports have been received.
  • An alert relating to a milky-grey discharge in Darebin Creek at Darebin Parklands, Alphington has been removed. EPA investigated but no source could be identified. No further reports have been received.
