Helicopters have been used to deliver a herbicide that may be able to eradicate a weedy grass known as spartina in the Western Port region.
June 8 is World Oceans Day and this year’s theme is ‘Our Oceans, Our Future’, which encourages all of us to find solutions to plastic pollution and prevent marine litter for healthier oceans.
The Victorian Government has provided $3.57 million from the $10 million Port Phillip Bay Fund to protect and improve the health of our iconic Bay and wider bay catchment area.
